Lucie Davis - What A Hitter!

Lucie recently saved the Suite 925 softball team...contributing to their largest win of the season.

Last Thursday I texted Lucie around noon begging her to come play softball. Lucie looked at her phone first in horror, then in disbelief. Unsure if the text was even meant for her, she wrote back asking when and where the game was. I sent her a message to call me and then we talked about the fast aproaching game that night. After begging, pleading, promises of free beer and a ride home, Lucie agree to save my butt and our team from a forfeit.

After a rousing pep talk and going over most of the rules on the long subway ride up to 138th St., we arrived at the field early feeling much more confident than when we first met at 34th St.

Lucie immediately contributed to the team, providing a notebok and pen to write the lineup on. She then went on to catch the entire game, and scored 3 important runs, getting on base 4 times.

When asked about the experience Lucie agreed it was a complete success. Suite 925 would definitely ask Lucie back to play.
