The Show

After an overwhelming demand (ok a few persistent people) I have decided to start a blog. This is my attempt to completely and utterly embarass myself...I mean organize and record all of the random stories and happenings that occur in my life that other people seem to find so entertaining.

Advice For The Company Holiday Party

It's that time of year. Tonight is my always interesting company holiday party. The evening will begin in the tourist infested Times Square area. Dinner at a Family-style Italian restaurant and then a 2 hour premium open bar at an Irish joint in the one and only Hells-Kitchen. NO guests allowed, company employees only (as if i don't see these people enough).

My usual plan of attack for company outings with an open bar is to drink (heavily), but to always make sure there are at least 5 people who are far more intoxicated than I am around me. So far this rule has served me well. At last years party people were so drunk and busy hooking up that no one even noticed the fight I got into with a random drunk guy. I punched someone, left abruptly, walked clear across Manhattan...and all they could talk about on Monday was how drunk so and so was and who hooked up with who...it was great.

So here's my holiday tip...just remember, get drunk on the company's dime, but always make sure that there are at least a handful of drunken idiots around you making you look good...it never fails!!
